Abstract
⺠Layer-by-layer growth of MnOx on Rh(111) was achieved. ⺠Vibrational properties were obtained by HREELS. ⺠MnO like trilayer structure formed at submonolayer. ⺠Mn3O4 initiated from the second layer. ⺠Stability guaranteed MnOx/Rh(111) a suitable model catalyst.
