Abstract
⺠Methanol on supported Au-Pt intermixed bimetallic clusters induced a segregation of Au from Pt. ⺠Ethanol and cyclohexene were adsorbed on Au-Pt bimetallic clusters for comparisons. ⺠The interaction of the hydroxyl group of methanol with the clusters accounts for the structural modifications.
