Abstract
⺠Study of TiO2 monolayers on three different oxides substrates by XAS and RPES. ⺠We paid attention to the interaction of the TiO2 monolayers with the substrate. ⺠The covalent character of the substrate reduces covalency of the overlayer. ⺠Both techniques confirm the formation of Ti-O-M cross linking bonds at the interface.
