Abstract
⺠ARHEED is applied to study the in-plane symmetry of the InSb(111)A surface. ⺠The full 2D reciprocal space map reveals a InSb(111)A (2r3x2r3) reconstruction. ⺠The phase boundary between the (2x2) and (2r3x2r3) reconstruction is obtained. ⺠The InSb(111)A surface differs in its physical origin from the one on GaSb(111)A.
