Abstract
⺠Nanostructured TiO2 with variable morphology was grown by pulsed laser deposition. ⺠Porous films show a higher degree of surface local disorder than compact films. ⺠Surface defects are more easily induced in porous than in compact films. ⺠Surface structure affects reactivity towards organic/hydroxyl groups.
