Abstract
âºWe report a SXRD study of Fe films grown on c(2 Ã 2)-N/Cu(100) surface. âºAt N saturation coverage, the results are compatible with a p4gm(2 Ã 2) symmetry. âºN atoms occupy four-fold hollow sites, Fe or Cu atoms in a clock reconstruction. âºAt N subsaturation coverage we obtained a model with two surface domains. âºThe two surface domains present p4gm(2 Ã 2) and a p(1 Ã 1) symmetries.
