Abstract
⺠Ultra-fast phosphorus surface segregation was observed on a martensitic 17-4PH steel. ⺠It is due to ultra-fast grain boundary diffusion. ⺠Grain boundary diffusion can be modeled by the Darken-du Plessis approach.
