Abstract
⺠NCO adsorption on Cu(100) was studied at different coverages. ⺠A significant electronic charge is transferred from Cu to NCO. ⺠Isocyanates tend to be separated from each other. ⺠Required vacant sites are generated for the dissociation to N and CO.
