Abstract
⺠We study the magnetism and magnetotransport of thin Fe films deposited on Si. ⺠The morphologic characteristics of the films strongly influence their properties. ⺠The Fe stripes' orientation determines the resistive and magnetoresistive responses. ⺠Magnetoresistivity variations of up to 520% have been observed.
