The ÏL1, ÏL2 and ÏL3 subshell X-ray production cross sections for U, Th, Bi, Pb, Tl, Hg, Au, Pt, Os, W, Ta, Lu, Yb and Er have been measured at 22.6Â keV incident photon energy. The measurements were performed using a 109Cd radioisotope as the photon source and a Si(Li) detector. Li subshell fluorescence yields Ï1,Ï2 and Ï3 have been determined from the measured ÏL1, ÏL2 and ÏL3 subshell X-ray production cross sections. The measured Li subshell production cross sections and Ïi fluorescence yields were compared with theoretical, the semi-empirical and recommended values.
⺠The Ïi fluorescence yields (i=1,2,3) determined from the measured ÏLi cross sections. ⺠The measurements were performed using 109Cd radioisotope source and Si(Li) detector. ⺠In literature there are three different sets of the fluorescence Ïi yields [7,10-12]. ⺠The fluorescence yields Ïi were evaluated for the three sets. ⺠The sets were compared with each other.
