Abstract
âºSurface monitoring techniques based on light scattered by metal NPs are presented. ⺠We focus on the detection of surface inhomogeneities. ⺠A new sensing technique based on the linear polarization degree is discussed. ⺠We show the importance of the nanoparticle or nanosensor's shape.
