Abstract
The self-, nitrogen- and oxygen-broadening parameters of pure rotational water lines in the 1.0-1.2Â THz frequency range have been measured by means of a frequency modulated spectrometer. The J=31,2â30.3 (1.097Â THz), 31,2â22,1 (1.153Â THz), 63,4â54,1 (1.158Â THz), and 32,1â31,2 (1.163Â THz) transitions have been considered. The experimental determination has been supplemented by theoretical calculations within the semiclassical approximation.
