Abstract
The double interval spherical harmonic method introduced effectively by Wilson and Sen has already been used by Ghosh and Karanjai to solve the equation of radiative transfer in coherent isotropic scattering atmosphere, originally developed by Woolley and Stibbs. The same method has been successfully used in this paper to solve the equation of transfer for coherent anisotropic scattering.
