Abstract
We reported a novel low-cost CVD system for repeatable graphene deposition with “no” precursor. Isoprene, emission from natural rubber, was the continuous carbon source for newly designed CVD graphene system. Because of longer carbon chain and lower decomposing energy, higher efficient growth process for continuous graphene film was repeatedly achieved for more than 50 times. Characterizing tools such as SEM, AFM, and Raman spectra was conducted to confirm growth results. Besides, through transistor fabrication and electronic measurement, similar I-V curves with Dirac cone revealed high-quality graphene.
