Abstract
Measured critical resolved shear stress scaled by the (111) shear modulus (39 GPa) necessary to achieve on-going glide as a function of temperature, for the a/2[111] screw dislocation in the model BCC Co16.67Fe36.67Ni16.67Ti30 alloy. The upper and lower bounds of the critical resolved shear stress is shown in the plot. Also shown in Fig. 6 is the measured strength for the mean-field A-atom material and BCC Fe as a function of temperature scaled by their 111 shear modulus (44 and83 GPa, respectively).208
