Abstract
BiFeO3 (BFO) multiferroic nanoparticles have attracted increasing attention owing to the coexistence of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties. In this work, Bi1âxMgxFeO3 (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.15) multiferroic nanoparticles were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The electromagnetic properties and microwave absorption performance in the temperature range of 323-723Â K at X-band were investigated. The qualified bandwidth (absorption intensity < â10Â dB) of the Mg-doped BFO materials covers the whole X-band at 673Â K, suggesting promising candidates as high-temperature electromagnetic absorbers.
