Abstract
In this study, a series of (Mn1.56Co0.96Ni0.48O4)1−x(LaMn0.6Al0.4O3)x composite thin films was synthesized on silicon (100) substrates by chemical solution deposition method. Addition of LaMn0.6Al0.4O3 aided in improvement in the film morphology and density, while keeping the electrical properties similar. More importantly, the cation redistribution, in particular, the Al3+ entering into Mn1.56Co0.96Ni0.48O4 grains, significantly facilitated the optical absorption in the wavelength range of 0.63-2 µm, which bears significant technological interests in designing and application of infrared detectors.
