Abstract
Thermal properties of the synthesized rubidium and cesium borosilicate glasses have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The values of glass transition temperature (Tg) and crystallization temperature (Tc) have been determined, the characteristic features of crystallization process have been established at various heat treatment conditions. Glass crystallization products have been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction. Information on the properties of the glasses makes it possible to correct the heat treatment parameters for glass-containing nuclear waste matrix materials.
