Abstract
3, 4, 9, 10-perylene tetracarboxylic acid (PTCA) showed pH dependent highly reversible on-off fluorescence switching in aqueous solution and acidic carboxylic group functionalities allowed to fabricate rewritable stimuli responsive fluorescent platform that has also been demonstrated for information storing and hiding applications.278
