Abstract
The effect of the composition on the crystallization behavior of Er3+ doped phosphate glasses was investigated. The addition of B2O3, TiO2 and ZnO increases the glass stability against crystallization. Two different crystals, the composition of which depends on the glass composition, precipitate from the surface in the glasses.193
