Abstract
The Fig. shown summarizes almost the content of the present work, plot (a) shows the heating and cooling runs of the DSC thermogram whereas plot (b) illustrate the variation of the real part (εâ²) of complex dielectric permittivity ε* versus T. Based on the combination of the two plots, it is obviously that, the hybrid (n-C16H33NH3)2 ZnCl4 undergoes intercalation to non-intercalation phase transition at 373K. Where the drastic change in the length of c-axis by about 19% has been observed. In the non-intercalated phase the chains experience a high degree of mobility.151
