Abstract
Controlling heat exchange in buildings through envelopes is one of the parameters to reach thermal comfort. Case study selection has a significant impact on an eventual result in such kind of studies. This paper aims to identify the criteria to apply for having the better-selected case study building to monitor thermal comfort performance with minimum interferences of external aspects in North Cyprus. This study proposed eventual factors with hierarchy criteria proposed to evaluate a better selection of the case study. 'Kyrenia' will be the field of the study and the results would be extrapolated. The research concluded with proposed recommendation to select better case study building for monitoring thermal comfort and based on envelope development.
