Abstract
												The paper experimentally investigates a pump system with and without an axial rotor mounted in front of the pump impeller. First, the paper presents the experimental test rig and the control and acquisition system. Second, the experimental results concentrate on the axial rotor influence on the efficiency and cavitational behaviour. Third, the paper presents the influence of the axial rotor for two positions, while the impeller has same axial position. The last section draws the conclusions.
