Abstract
The replacement of environmentally unfriendly fossil fuels with green energy resources plays a fundamental role in resolving environmental pollution and global warming problems. In this paper, a multi-objective optimization method is promoted for the design of an energy system integrating biomass CHP, PV and heat storage. The results give a trade-off between economic and environmental performances while providing feasible generation settlements that take into account the installation of CHP, PV, together with utility grid.
