Abstract
CdSxSe1âxassembled nanospheres were fabricated from CdSxSe1âx quantum dots (x = 0-1) via a emulsion-based bottom-up self-assembly approach. The unique architecures of the self-assembled CdSxSe1âx QDs resulted in enhanced light harvesting and facilitated the photoinduced electron-hole separation, which made a good contribution to their improved performance in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water.191
