Abstract
We propose a novel candidate wavelength plan for suppressing four-wave mixing (FWM) in 100G-EPON. Advanced simulation using VPI is performed to analyze the FWM induced system distortion. Simulation results indicate that the proposed wavelength plan shows significant advantage in FWM suppression. Besides, an 8-channel wavelength plan is also proposed as an upgrade path to 200G-EPON.
