Abstract
In this work, the effect of electron-phonon (e-p) interaction on third-harmonic generation (THG) in a GaAs double ring-shaped quantum dot is studied. To this end, we have analytically obtained the energy levels and wave functions without the interaction between electron and phonon. Then, we have used THG coefficient which is obtained by using compact-density-matrix approach and iterative method. Numerical obtained results reveal that the THG coefficient is obviously increased and the peak positions shift toward higher energies after considering the e-p interaction.
