Abstract
- A substantial amount of nanosized HAp was incorporated into the electrospun PHB.
- HAp nanoparticles could be homogeneously encapsulated inside the ultrafine fibers.
- Electrospinning parameters were optimized to fabricate defect-free PHB/HAp fibers.
- Fiber diameter increases with increasing voltage and solution concentration.
- MC3T3-E1 cells had high viability and metabolic activity on the nanohybrids.
