Abstract
A novel electrical device, hybrid supercapacitors, become the striking one due to its integration of battery and supercapacitor. There is an emerging concept of electrode materials construction, carbonaceous composites, consisting of transition metal oxides and carbon-related material. Using Co3O4/CNTs as the electrode material, CNTs can enhance the electron conductivity of Co3O4 with high specific capacitance and high amount of ions storage. With the powerful technique of in-situ TEM, we find that the Co3O4 nanoparticles carried out two different electrochemical reactions and ions intercalated into CNTs.285
