Abstract
S-NiFe2O4 ultra-small nanoparticle built nanosheets were synthesized on nickel foam as a free-standing electrode for efficient alkaline and neutral water splitting, which exhibited remarkable catalytic activity, favorable kinetics, high Faradaic efficiency, and excellent durability towards both the oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions, even outperforming commercial 20 wt% Pt/C. 399
