Abstract
Nature polymer carrageenan from sea weeds is widely used thickening agent for shaping forming in food industry. Carrageenan can form covalent bonding with polysulfide to prevent excessive polysulfide dissolution and migration into the electrolyte. When carrageenan is used in composite electrode as polymer binder to shape the composite electrode, the dissolution of sulfur into polysulfide is immediately capture by carrageenan to prevent further migration of polysulfide beyond the cathode location.205
