Abstract
Exploiting the spherical pellets as the media for performing the contact-separation operation under the excitation of the ultrasonic waves, TENG is extremely attractive for energy harvesting under water. Based on the novel design and creative mechanism, TENG exhibits a higher in efficiency including the output current of 0.12Â A and an energy average conversion efficient of 13.1%, respectively. Thanks to the design, materials used and fabrication process, this device is more cost-effective, lighter in weight, easier packaging and better compressive property making it ideal for the possible large-scale energy harvesting and detecting the ultrasonic energy underwater.207
