Abstract
MoO3 nanosheets with different concentration of oxygen vacancy are successfully synthesized based on a liquid-exfoliation strategy and controllable reduction reaction. The MoO3âx NSs-2 with highly mixed valence of Mo5+ and Mo6+ display the lowest overpotential with ultrastable cyclability. Self-catalyzed decomposition of the discharge products on the vacancy sites is considered as the dominant cause for enhanced performance.194
