Abstract
The testing specimens were immersed in a solution to simulate the effect of human saliva with the corresponding pH, and to limit its degradation by temperature under the very high frequency loading. Thermographic analysis has been implemented too in order to monitoring the testing temperature in real time. Finally, the ultrasonic fatigue endurance was determined for this polymeric material together with a general investigation of the crack initiation and propagation under the described testing conditions.
