Abstract
Nb4C3Tx MXene, is formed by etching Al from Nb4AlC3 in HF at room temperature. As anode for lithium ion batteries, it displays a higher capacity than as-produced titanium carbide MXenes, and the charge/discharge capacity of the Nb4C3Tx anode increases with cycling. The mechanisms of its excellent rate capability and superior long-term stability at the ultrahigh rate have been studied and explained.196
