Abstract
A novel hybrid supercapacitor, employing the high-surface-area porous carbon rods (PCR) as the cathode and the microrod-like MnOX-PCR as the anode, yields an ultrahigh energy density of 174 W h kg−1 at 200 W kg−1 and remains 74.5 W h kg−1 at a high power density of 10,000 W kg−1, and thus holds promise for the application in electric vehicles and portable electronics.197
