Abstract
Mg-13Gd-2Nd-2Cu alloy mainly consists of α-Mg matrix phase, Mg5(GdNdCu)1 phase and cubical Cuboid phase. Increasing annealing temperature results in the recrystallization and growth of α-Mg grains, and the redistribution of Mg5(GdNdCu)1 phases, and thus slightly decreases the yield strength of the as-extruded alloys.
