At the sites of the interaction of shear bands, the direction of the propagation will be changed, and the offset is the vector sum of two shear bands. Under the action of external stress, one shear band can be decomposed into several tiny bands. The mutual interaction will bring more materials into the deformation zones and dissipate more energy, as well as the suppression of the propagation of shear bands.213
