Abstract
Asphalt carbon coated graphene/magnetic NiFe2O4 modified multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) composites were synthesized. As EM wave absorbers, the composites were mixed with paraffin, which exhibit significant microwave absorption properties. The maximum reflection loss is â45.9 dB at 4.6 GHz with a thickness of 3.2 mm. In addition, there is a strong wave-absorbing peak at 6.2 GHz, and the corresponding RL is up to â38.9dB. The bandwidth corresponding to the RL values below â10 dB is 14 GHz (from 4GHz to 18GHz) with thickness in the range of 1.2mm-4 mm, highlighting its potential for microwave absorbing applications.
