Abstract
Ultrasonic irradiation induced disorder modification on TiO2 nanocrystals through hydroxyls injection, which caused the band-gap narrowing and the optical absorption improvement, resulting in the deeper color in appearance and the enhancement of solar-driven photocatalytic activity. The extension of ultrasonic time and increasing of pH value in reaction was more beneficial to the properties of disordered TiO2 NCs.291
