Abstract
Three-dimensional (3D) macroporous carbon derived from kenaf stem (3D-KSC) supported hierarchical ZnO-NiO nanosheets were constructed by thermal annealing of Zn doped Ni-metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) immobilized on the 3D-KSCs for nonenzymatic glucose sensing. The results showed that the existence of a small quantity of Zn played an important role in controlling the morphology of hierarchical ZnO-NiO nanosheets. The resulted mesoporous nanosheet structure increased the effective electrode surface area The as-synthesized mesoporous ZnO-NiO was prepared into the integrated electrode for highly sensitive and selective nonenzymatic glucose detection.245
