Abstract
Large-scale syntheses of AgCl uniform nanocubes and nanospheres have been achieved by the reaction of the precursor AgNO3 and CCl4 in a solvothermal system with polyvinylprrolidone (PVP) as a capping agent. The AgCl product can be converted to a plasmonic Ag/AgCl photocatalyst under UV-light irradiation, which exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for the degradation of organic contaminants of Rhodamine B (RhB).286
