Abstract
Novel Nb2O5-modified Nb3O7F hybrid photocatalysts are crafted through directly thermal decomposition method for the first time. The crystallographic phase sensitively correlates with heat-treated temperature, posing great challenges to synthesize active products with tuned phases, composition and properties. The photocatalytic activities have been investigated by degrading methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. Compared with pure Nb3O7F, Nb3O7F/Nb2O5 nanocomposites exhibit enhanced photocatalytic performance. One possible explanation is due to perfect crystallization and synergistic effect.261
