Abstract
Graphene quantum dot-cobalt ferrite-poly(vinylidene fluoride) (GQD-CFO-PVDF) ternary composites were prepared with GQD and CFO as co-fillers. One filler is conducting; the other filler is nonconducting and magnetic. The morphology of nanofillers was characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) patterns of CFO-PVDF and CFO-GQD-PVDF composites implied the α-phase to β-phase crystalline transformation of PVDF. The dielectric constant of the CFO-GQD-PVDF ternary composite was much higher than that of the CFO-PVDF composites and the dielectric loss of CFO-GQD-PVDF was much lower than that of the GQD-PVDF composites.
