Abstract
A carbon nanotubes (CNTs) network wrapped flower-like SnS composite was synthesized by a facile solvothermal approach. Thanks to the unique interconnected and hierarchical structure of the composite, enhanced electrochemical performances were obtained. When the composite was investigated as anode material for sodium-ion battery, a reversible capacity of 464 mAh gâ1 was obtained at a current density of 50 mA gâ1, and a rate capability of 244 mAh gâ1 even at 3200 mA gâ1. Furthermore, SnS/CNTs electrode displayed a better cycling stability than bare SnS electrode. These results confirm that such a composite is a potential anode material for sodium-ion battery.
