Abstract
WS2 has drawn broad attention in recent years. Here, we firstly report a novel large-scale, thickness-controlled and atomized spray casting deposition method using a compressor nebulizer at ambient temperature and pressure conditions. The output can be obtained in a short period of time and an economical way. We can easily control the film thickness and achieve different patterns. Under an optimized condition, flakes of large-scale and good uniformity are achieved. Besides, a transparent, flexible and stretchable strain sensor with high sensitivity is fabricated by depositing WS2 onto PET substrates. The gauge factor (GF) reaches 14, exhibiting extraordinary electrical properties.
