Abstract
Herein, a quasi-coral-like nanostructure of SnO2/SnO@C composite (SnOx@C) has been prepared by a facile one-pot hydrothermal and subsequent carbonization strategy. This interesting architecture of ultrasmall SnOx nanoparticles embedded into quasi-coral-like carbon matrix can not only accommodate the volume change of SnO2, but also improve the conductivity of whole SnOx@C electrode. In consequence, the SnOx@C exhibits outstanding lithium storage.
