Abstract
We report results of the studies relating to the technological development of 3-aminopropyl tri-ethoxy saline (APTES) conjugated tungsten trioxide nanoparticles (APTES/n-WO3) based sensor for cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) detection. The APTES/n-WO3 nanoparticles were deposited onto indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass electrode via electrophoretic deposition technique and were subsequently functionalized with troponin antibodies (anti-cTnI). The n-WO3/ITO and anti-cTnI/APTES/n-WO3/ITO electrodes were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) respectively. This immunosensor exhibited a wider linear detection range (1-250 ng mLâ1) with good sensitivity (26.56 Ω ngâ1mL cmâ2).
