Abstract
New Fe26.7Co26.7Ni26.6Si9B11 high entropy metallic glass (HE-MG) with nanoscale FCC phase embedded in glass matrix was developed. The HE-MG shows superior soft magnetic properties (low coercivity (Hc) of 2Â A/m and high saturation magnetization (Bs) of 1.07 T) and good bending ductility even after stress-relief annealing. And high temperature annealing of the HE-MG can lead to the phase transition from FCC to BCC phase, and the crystallization phase of the glass matrix is also high entropy BCC phase instead of brittle intermetallic phase. This work will provide a new perspective to develop HE-MG with excellent comprehensive properties.
