Abstract
A double function of Eu crystalline materials with luminescence and gas storage, namely [(CPPA)Eu·3H2O]n has been synthesized by solvothermal method based on multiple acid ligands, 4-((5-carboxypyridin-3-yl)oxy)phthalic acid (CPPA). Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that complex is a two dimensional surface with tubular structure. The fluorescent test results show that the complexes have excellent fluorescence properties, and can emit bright red light under the irradiation of the ultraviolet lamp. The adsorption of nitrogen and carbon dioxide gas test results show that the complexes have a certain adsorption of nitrogen but carbon dioxide is not.
